What backups does Dependra make?

At Dependra we take backups very seriously. All accounts on all servers have backups taken daily, weekly, and monthly.

In addition to taking backups often, we also move a copy of them to servers in different datacenters regularly. This extra step ensures that in the highly unusual circumstance of a major datacenter problem like a fire, your backups are safe and can be restored quickly.

Dependra also provides the ability to backup your hosting account with us yourself. By going into your cPanel administration system you can save a backup to your home directory. This can then be downloaded to your home or office computer system.

While we take every step we can to make sure your data is backed up, you need to take backups yourself to guarantee the safety of your data.
