My hosting account includes subdomains. What are they?
Subdomains are special website addresses at your domain name that are easily remembered.
Subdomains allow you to have your main site hosted on your domain name (Eg. www.example.com) and another page (or whole site) hosted at subdomain.example.com.
This can be useful for sites to separate different sections. A book store with the domain name www.jimsbooks.com could use one subdomain for their kids section (kids.jimsbooks.com) and another for their novels section (novels.jimsbooks.com).
When you create a subdomain using your cPanel Control Panel a directory of the same name is placed in your public_html directory. Place your website for that subdomain inside it to publish it.
